Crane track on ballast bed

Bemo Rail has its own concrete sleeper, especially for crane rail constructions with high wheel loads. The rail is mounted on a sleeper with a strong spring clamp and an elastic sole plate. The sleeper can be installed very precisely in a gravel bed, on sand-cement stabilisation or in repak. If necessary, the entire rail construction can be applied in combination with surfacing (asphalt, concrete sheeting or paving). It is important that the subsoil is well compacted.

In addition to concrete sleepers, Bemo Rail uses hardwood sleepers with a supporting plate and rail fastening material. Furthermore, it is applied in the same way as the concrete sleeper.

Synthetic crane track sleepers are made of recycled plastic, a strong product with a long life span of about 50 years. For many years, plastic has been used worldwide for bridges, and it is also used for switches, railway tracks, subways, GVB companies and in industrial applications. The advantage is the high production capacity, the product is strong, durable, lightweight, easy and quick to assemble and fully recyclable.

Like crane tracks, industrial track can be mounted on various types of concrete, wooden or plastic track girders. The track rails on the sleepers can be used at factory sites and private rail connections.
