A further six cantilever rail-mounted gantry cranes have arrived in the River Mersey on Thursday 6 October. Ready for installing and commissioning at the Liverpool2 deep-water container terminal. Produced by ZPMC these six complete the set of 12 required for phase 1 of the terminal.
The CRMG Cranes move along a runway rail construction on a ballast bed, which has been engineered and constructed by Bemo Rail. It concerned the rail construction, customized anchorages, jacking points and buffers stops. On October 18th Bemo Rail has successfully completed this phase!
