Rail track switch for CERN

Earlier this year Bemo Rail has swapped in 8 days 2 x 300 meters rail A100 at a height of 10 meters, in a very complex laboratory hall at the nuclear research center CERN in Geneva. On both sides of the hall there was one location Bemo Rail could establish a lorry crane to change the rail sections. In total there are 2 x 24 flash butt weldings made in a time of 2 x 12 hours! The work is scheduled and executed to customer satisfaction.
