Maintenance and 24-hour service of shunting vehicles
Our service and maintenance department provides maintenance for locomotives, shunting systems and lorries, whatever the brand. Contracts are diversified from call out to complete packages that include 24/7 service, strategic parts and stock management of parts.
Preventive maintenance to minimise downtime
Bemo Rail manages the entire maintenance and service history of vehicles in a database that can be accessed online by our engineers. In this way we can anticipate on maintenance needs and plan work efficiently to minimise operational downtime as much as possible.
Rental locomotives
Bemo Rail offers rental and lease deals for both new and second hand locomotives. Second hand vehicles, some refurbished and modernised by Bemo Rail, are available in reasonable numbers and available for rent for any period of time. Lease and rental prices are calculated depending on many aspects. A maintenance and service contract is usually included in the overall agreement, so the customer is well-informed in advance about the total operational costs.
Stock of components and spare parts for shunting vehicles
Bemo Rail has an extensive range spare parts in stock for quick delivery to customers worldwide: buffers, screw couplers and shunting couplers, brake-hoses and ball valves, wheels, compressors, starters and alternators, oil and products like filters, brake blocks, belts and hoses.
Stock management of shunting spare parts for customers
We can also agree to keep stock of client specific key-parts with long lead. Obviously, all these components can be assembled and fitted on site by our experienced technicians.

Bemo Rail is specialised in bespoke shunting solutions. In our fully equipped state-of-the-art workshop we design and manufacture tailor-made shunting constructions.
